America the Beautiful National Parks Quarter ProgramThe 2010 Yellowstone National Park Quarter is the second coin in the National Park Quarter Series. One National Park from each state and territory will be honored, 5 new designs each year!The 2010 releases will include: Hot Springs, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Canyon and Mt. Hood..Each of the 5 quarters will be issued for only about 8-9 weeks, making their production limited. Like the State Quarters, each quarter will be minted from the Philadelphia, Denver & San Francisco Mints. The obverse design showing George Washington remains unchanged, while the reverse design reflects the park being commemorated.Yellowstone's quarter's reverse depicts a scene of the famous geyser Old Faithful erupting. American Bison, commonly referred to as Buffalo, appear in the foreground and background of the design. The inscriptions read ""Yellowstone"", ""Wyoming"", ""E Pluribus Unum"", and the date ""2010"". This roll contains 40 uncirculated PROOF San Francisco Minted Quarters taken out from Government sewn bags. Please keep the coins in their protective tube holder.
